Dear Wendel Children and Daume Siblings!
Fred and I just read our CashBook Journal today and saw where your sweet mother/sister had passed away. We have some great memories of our time in Jackson shared with Allegra and Jake. One in particular taught me a lesson I’ve never forgotten about choosing a piece of country ham…never take an end piece unless you adore SALT! They were such faithful members and hard workers in the church
Fred reminded me too, that one time Ray Willer provided the seed and Jake provided an acre of land to grow sweet corn for a highly successful fundraiser, a Corn Boil! Best corn we have ever eaten, picked in the morning by the Yourh Fellowship, and cooked in the afternoon to perfection by the Women’s Fellowship! All you could eat with a side of sliced tomatoes, fabulous! What great times we had.
She’s at rest now and in the arms of Christ. Her impact and love will be felt as long as she is remembered.
    God be with you all.
    Shelley and Fred Brandenburg
