Ann L. Vinyard, age 83, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born September 14, 1932, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Meta Voshage King Fiehler and Elmer King.
She and David Vinyard were married August 20, 1962. He preceded her in death on February 27, 1997.
Ann was a member of Crossroads Fellowship Church in Jackson. She worked at the former Judy’s Dress Shop in Jackson and the former Route 25 Banquet Hall.
Ann is survived by a daughter, Pam Wheeler of Memphis, TN; two sisters Erma (Bill) Call and Clara (Leonard) Ahrens of Jackson; a brother, David (Mary) King of Fuquay Varina, North Carolina; and six grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, James Morrison.
The visitation will be held from 9:30 am until time of service on Monday, August 22, 2016 at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral will be at 11:00 am, Monday at the funeral home in Jackson with Rev. Joshua Burgard officiating.
Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
