Bernard H. “Benny” Seiler, 57, of Oak Ridge, passed away Tuesday, June 2, 2015 in an automobile accident.

He was born January 20, 1958, in Cape Girardeau, son of Leonard G. and Betty M. Stovall Seiler.

Benny worked 26 years at Proctor and Gamble in Cape Girardeau.  He was proud to be a hillbilly.

Loving survivors include his mother, Betty Seiler Ford of Oak Ridge; four children, Gloria (Tim) Pender,  Ashley Howard, and Alex Seiler of Oak Ridge, and Allyson (Chris) Seiler of St. Louis, Missouri; 11 grandchildren, Danny, Leigha, Kaylee and Caleb, Tyson, Riley and Owen, Mallorie, Carrie, Lexie and Alaina; two brothers, Lenny (Jeanne) Seiler of  Friedheim, Missouri and Andy Seiler of San Bernardino, California; two sisters, Jo Ann Dallas of Jackson and Sarah Seiler of San Bernardino.

He was preceded in death by his father, granddaughter, Mackenzie, a brother, Rick Seiler, two sisters, Carol Riley, and Mary Dell Seiler.

Friends may call from noon until service time on Sunday, June 7, 2015 at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.

    i just want to say how sorry I am for everyone loss of Benny. I worked with him at P&G and he was such a funny, friendly guy. In all the years of knowing him, he was always ready to help in any way he could. He always had a joke of some kind to tell to put you in a better mood. Once again, I’m so sorry for everyone’s loss.

    My heart goes out to the family and the friends of Benny. I grew up with Benny in Oak Ridge and he was a good ol boy. He taught me how to ride a horse, and he taught me how to swim. He was one of the good guys.

    Benny benny benny….what a gud ole boy you were…to many…and many more…hardly ever thinking of your self,atleast not did what you did and done what you done..what ever it was seems you had fun…now the lord has called you home,and away you had flown…didnt have a chance to say goodbye..but we know in our hearts that ok by you,with the thought of you in our mind…seeing your face and the blink of an eye…rest now benny the time has come,for it wont be long buddie and we all will be called home…then in the house of the lord way up high in the sky..we will be able to pick up where we left off…with just a blink of the eye…piece out buddie…you are missed…our thoughts go out to bennys faimly and friends now and for ever..we wil never forget you my friend..we only got the chance to know benny for about two years..but he has left us enuff friendship that we will carry for ever…thank you benny for your friendship…joe keller and melissa jenkins…
