Bonnie “Boots” Dee Clardy, 95, of Jackson passed away September 16, 2016 at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson, surrounded by family.

She was born February 23, 1921 in Millersville, MO daughter of Burette and Addie Mae Robins Brown.  She and William Paul Clardy were married December 31, 1935 in Whitewater. They had been married nearly 55 years when Paul passed away November 27, 1990.

Bonnie was a member of Connection Point Church in Jackson. She enjoyed fellowship and attending church activities, spending time with her friends, and most of all, she loved her family. Bonnie worked as a cook for the Jackson R-2 School District for several years before she retired in September of 1988.

Loving survivors include her sons, Paul Dean Clardy of Jackson and Mike (Lynette) Clardy of Whitewater; a son-in-law, Danny Lawter of Humble, Texas; 8 grandchildren, Eddie (Tammy) Clardy,                   Kitty (Brent) Prindle, Ricky Clardy, Tina (Jewell) Leimer, Rocky Leimer, Bobbie (Clarence) Lenear, Clarissa (Steve) Rodgers, and Stacey (Randal) Kight; 13 great grandchildren, Keisha (Nick) Panagos, Lindi Rains, Chad (Brooke) Prindle, Autumn (Travis) Stevens, Hailey (Dustin) Massey, Austin (Jessica) Clardy, Rocky Leimer Jr, Jessie Leimer, Jacob Leimer, Randee (Jamar) Clayton, Cole (Chelsea) Rodgers, Gunnar Bollinger and Remi Bollinger;  25 great-great grandchildren, Joseph, Mark and Seth Panagos, Hunter and Tatum Clardy, Kade Sullivan,  Ashtyn Rains, Guage Williamson, Carter and Hudson Prindle, Allie, Fisher, and Avery Stevens, Ava and Easton Massey, Taylen and Poppy Clardy, Grace Auffenburg, Alexis Dockins, Landon and Dalton Hawkins, Jaydon, Lelia, Mia and Mya Clayton; a brother, Loomis “Jock” (Olline) Brown of Jackson; and a sister, Iva Hutchings of Cornville, Arizonia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter, Iva Dee Lawter, a daughter-in-law, Mabel Clardy, a great grandson, Eddie “Bubby” Clardy Jr., a great-great grandson, Eric Carter Clayton, four siblings, John “Doc” Ellis Brown, Maude Austin, Mildred Runnels, and Dorothy Jean Stroder.

The visitation will be 10 am til 1 pm Monday, September 19, 2016 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The funeral service will be 1 pm at the funeral home with Rev Elijah Allen officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Crown Hospice.
