Dallas Ray Eaker, 83, of Sullivan, Missouri, passed away Monday, August 3, 2015 at his home.

He was born December 15, 1931, in Crump, Missouri, son of Omer and Beulah Stroder Eaker.  He and Anna Marie Craver were married November 12, 1952.  She passed away May 14, 1999.  He and Norma Mae Whitt Rodgers were married January of 2001.

Dallas grew up in Crump and then moved to the Pennsylvania area.  He worked for the Pentagon, and met his first wife, Anna before enlisting in the United States Air Force.  After being honorably discharged, he moved to California and worked as an electrician for United Airlines, retiring in 1994.  He moved to Sullivan in 2001 and married his second wife, Norma.

Loving survivors include his wife, Norma, of 14 years; three sons, Phillip (Donna) Eaker of Auburn, California, Paul (Bernice) Eaker of Fremont, California, and Michael (Melissa) Eaker of Citrus Heights, California; two daughters, Cynthia (Jimmy) Patton of Spencer, Indiana and Andrea Eaker of Hayward, California; two brothers, Steve Eaker of Wood River, Illinois and Kenny Eaker of Temecula, California; two sisters, Glenda Wilson of Granite City, Illinois and Jeannie Townsend of Pontoon Beach, Illinois; four step-children, Winona Werley, Gulena West, Shannon Rodgers, and Shane Rodgers, all of Sullivan.

In addition to his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Wilma Eaker and Nelda Eaker.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Friday, August 7, 2015 at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Proffer Cemetery at Crump, with full military honors.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society.
