Veteran-IntroHarry William Trust, 92, of Jackson passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born May 9, 1923, in Perryville, PA, son of Lutellas Fred and Francis B. Nebel Trust.  He and Anna Mae Delores Horn were married January 1, 1945 in St. Louis.

Harry was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from Feb 24, 1943 and was honorably discharged Feb. 7, 1946. Harry worked for the Federal Government in St. Louis for 25 years, retiring in 1986. He and his wife moved to Jackson in 1995. Harry was a member of the American Legion Post 158 , Honor Guard, and NARFE (National Active and Retired Federal Employee Association, Perryville, Missouri Chapter). Harry enjoyed meeting new people, which he never met a stranger, He will be missed by many.

Loving survivors include his loving wife of 71 years, Anna; two sister-in-law’s, Margy Shumway of Cape Girardeau and Catherine Horn of Union, Missouri; several nieces and nephews; and many loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Cletus Trust; and a sister Lucille Kiley.

Friends may call Friday, April 1, 2016 from 4 to 8 pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson with an American Legion Honor Guard service at 7:00 pm followed by Parrish Prayers.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday, April 2, 2016, at 10 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson, with the Father John Harth officiating.

Interment will be at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Florissant, Missouri, with full military honors.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Asthma & Allergy Foundation of America or to Lung Cancer Foundation of America.
