Larry Wayne Crites, 75, of Jackson passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017 at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born September 21, 1941 in Cape Girardeau, son of Alfred and Rettia Sebaugh Crites.  He and Doris Scholz were married September 26, 1965.

Larry was baptized and confirmed at Sargents Chapel near Sedgewickville, MO. He was a graduate of Oak Ridge High School. Larry worker at the former Jackson Shoe Factory and Kroger Egg Company in Jackson.

Loving survivors include his wife Doris of nearly 52 years. Three children, Tim (Marlene) Crites of Jackson, Terry Crites of Nashville,Tn, and Lisa Crites of Jackson; a brother, Gale (Sandy) Crites of Jackson; a sister, Carolyn (the late Wayne) Ludwig of Jackson; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Dale Crites, and a great granddaughter, Crista.

Friends may call from 4-7 pm Tuesday, June 27th at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 11 am Wednesday, June 28th at the funeral home with Rev. Kelly Francis officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Jackson Revival Center in Jackson.

    Prayers for peace. To my cousins Lisa, her children, Doris Ann and all others, may God look over our family with love and favor. I pray that Larry rest peacefully with pain no more.
