Marjorie Pauline Lohman, age 92, of Jackson, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.
She was born August 11, 1924, in Pocahontas, daughter of Eberhart and Edna Schoen Ruehling.
She and Virgil H. Lohman were married January 24, 1946. He preceded her in death on December 8, 2005.
Marjorie was a lifelong member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. She enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family.
She is survived by a daughter, Carol (Nelson) Swan of Jackson; a grandson Chris Buchheit of Jackson; two sisters Cleo (Clarence) Douglas of Springdale, AR and Gleeda Bruhl of Jackson.
The visitation will be held from 10:00 am until time of service on Saturday, August 27, 2016 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
The funeral will be at 11:00 am, Saturday at the church with Rev. Lawrence Bradt officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the General Fund at St. John’s.
