Veteran-IntroMcGraddie “Mac” Robinson, 55, of Jackson passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at his home.

He was born December 24, 1959, in Cairo, Illinois, son of Ralph C. Robinson and Novella Jones Williams.  He and Gabriele Bielmeier were married September 16, 1981.

Mac was a member of Crossroads Church in Jackson.  He was inducted into the United States Army July 19, 1977, serving 20 years before retiring in 1997.  He was then employed 15 years as a line technician at Proctor and Gamble in Cape Girardeau. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Loving survivors include his wife of 34 years, Gabriele; five children, Antonio (Tonya) Wells of Atlanta, Georgia, LaTrease (Seneca) Drake of Kennett, Missouri, LaToya (Joe) Vaughn and McGraddie (Hannah) Robinson, Jr. of Jackson, Julia (Sarina) Robinson of Dahlgren, Virginia; his father, Ralph Robinson of Sikeston, Missouri, two brothers and five sisters; and ten grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother, a brother and a sister.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Sunday, December 6, 2015 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson, and from 10:00 am until service time Monday, December 7, 2015 at Crossroad Church in Jackson.

The funeral service will be Monday, at 11:00 am, at the church, with the Rev. Brian Anderson officiating.

Interment will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield, with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, or Crossroads Church.
