Myrtle Bollinger, age 91 of Sedgewickville, passed away at her home Monday, November 2, 2015.

She was born May 26, 1924 at Perryville, MO the daughter of Theodore G. and Virgie Colin Weibrecht.

Myrtle married Joe H. Bollinger on December 23, 1950 in Ste. Genevieve, MO. He preceded her in death March 6, 2004.

She was a former member of Patton Presbyterian Church in Patton, MO. Myrtle enjoyed gardening and was completely devoted to her family.

Loving survivors include four sons, Ray Bollinger and Steve Bollinger of Fruitland, Sam Bollinger of Sedgewickville and Ron Bollinger of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Carol Bollinger of Sedgewickville, Janet Hampton of Jackson, Ellen Hampton and Margie Schoppa of Cape Girardeau; a sister, June Blessing of Perryville, MO; 27 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by one son, Lynn Bollinger, 3 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, November 4, 2015 from 5-8 pm at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be Thursday, November 5, 2015 at 1 PM, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating.

Burial will follow in Bollinger Family Cemetery near Sedgewickville, Missouri.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Bollinger Cemetery.
