Tina Loretta Blechle, 53, of Oak Ridge, is now peacefully resting in the arms of her heavenly father.  After a valiant two year battle with cancer, she passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Tina was born February 11, 1963, in Cape Girardeau, to Charles and Loretta Volz Wilson.  She was raised in Oak Ridge and was a 1981 graduate of Oak Ridge High School.  She and Mike Blechle were married April 30, 1983, at Caney Fork Baptist Church near Oak Ridge.

Tina professed her faith in Christ at the age of 11, and was baptized in 1974, at Caney Fork Church.   She lived her faith to the fullest and was dedicated to her beloved church.  She had the heart of a true servant and especially enjoyed serving in Bible school, Sunday school, making Christmas banners, preparing and coordinating church gatherings, served as Sunday school treasurer, and helped establish the Samaritan’s Purse at the church.

Alongside her siblings, Elden, Mary, and Cathy, Tina enjoyed working in her father’s auto shop, Wilson Auto Sales in Oak Ridge.   She continued to help in the shop while she and Mike were raising their family.

Tina cherished her entire family, but especially loved caring for her babies.  Of utmost importance to her was that they come to know Jesus.   Her warm, selfless, and genuinely sincere heart endeared her to hundreds of people; and her innate ability to give unconditional love is why she was known as “mom” by many of her sons’ friends.

Tina’s favorite past times included studying the Bible, cooking, sewing, and inviting people to her home.

Loving survivors include her husband of 33 years, Mike of Oak Ridge; two sons: Scott (Sara) Blechle and Brent Blechle (Kaylen Woods) of Oak Ridge; four grandchildren, Brandon, Alexis, Layla, and Kaylee; her mother, Loretta (the late Charles) Wilson of Oak Ridge; two siblings, Elden (Kim) Wilson of Oak Ridge and Mary (Kenny) Stearns of Millersville; her mother-in-law, Shirley (the late Edgar) Blechle of Old Appleton; three sisters-in-law, Barb (Danny) Miller and Joanna (Dale) Newman of Old Appleton, and Linda (Jimmie) Stewart of Jackson; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Wilson, and a sister, Cathy Wilson.

Visitation is Monday, November 28, 2016, from 4 to 8 p.m., at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral is Tuesday, November 29, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Rhodes officiating.  Burial will follow at Caney Fork Cemetery near Oak Ridge.

Memorials to the family are appreciated.
