Veteran-IntroWarren H. Ream, age 93, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, February 21, 2016, at Missouri State Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born January 1, 1923, in Dixon, Illinois, son of Harry and Minnie Lingle Ream.  He and Ida M Fore were married September 19, 1943.  She passed away August 16, 2015.

Loving survivors include; a son, Larry (Linda) Ream of Jackson; four grandchildren, Misty (Sean) Kelley of Fort Worth, Texas and Brianna (Shannon) Morrow of Hesston, Kansas, Rick and Doug Jones of Louisville, Kentucky; 11 great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Bailey Downs, Christopher, Hailey, Payton, and Kendall Kelley, Addison, Caden, and Brynley Morrow, Garret and Alexis Jones; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Helen Underhill of Franklin Grove, Illinois, Butch (Norma) Fore of Olney, Illinois, and Connie (Ted) Heier of Ashton, Illinois.

A private family viewing and graveside will be held.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to Optimist International Foundation or Community Counseling Center Foundation in Cape Girardeau.

    My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family on the loss of your father and also on the passing of your mother this past August. Having lost my father last July, I understand how hard it is when you lose that last parent. I am so glad that Warren and my dad, Lyndon, were able to reconnect and visit via telephone the past few years.
