Ali Marie Brakhane, 46, of Jackson passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.
She was born January 24, 1972, in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Mark and Melody Cornwell Klink. Ali and Brad Brakhane were married April 22, 1995 in Bloomington Illinois.
She grew up Vermilion Grove, Illinois. She graduated from Illinois State University. After graduation she began her teaching career in Greenfield, Illinois where she taught for four years. She came to Orchard Elementary in 2007 as a kindergarten teacher, moving to second grade in 2017. Ali loved music and gardening. She enjoyed the outdoors, especially the beach and North Woods. She was committed to both her own family and school families. She was a member of Hanover Lutheran Church.
Loving survivors include her husband Brad Brakhane, two daughters Molly Ann and Libby Marie Brakhane; one son Mark Edwin Brakhane, all of Jackson; parents Mark and Melody Klink of Iron River, Michigan; one brother Jacob (Brandi) Klink of Bloomington, Illinois; nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 11 AM – 3 PM at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Memorial service will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 5PM at Hanover Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau with Rev. Tony Kobak officiating.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to the Brad Brakhane Scholarship Fund for Mark, Molly and Libby care of Bank of Missouri 233 West Jackson Boulevard Jackson, MO.
