Bobby Jean “B.J.” Langston, 33, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 after an automobile accident north west of Jackson.
He was born January 5, 1986, in Clarksville, Tennessee, son of Thomas and Brenda Kluesner Langston. He and Amy Floyd were married August 2, 2008 in Jackson.
“B.J.” was a member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Jackson. He worked at Luhr Brothers for six years and previously Mid-America Hotels for ten years as a painter. B.J. was a member of Harold O. Grauel Masonic Lodge in Cape Girardeau. He had a passion and love of the outdoors. B.J. enjoyed the sport of hunting and fishing. B.J. will be missed by his wife, daughter, family, and friends.
Loving survivors include his wife of eleven years; a daughter, Faye Langston; two sisters, Heather McBride of Gordonville and her son, Lucas Fann, and Melissa Langston of Navarre, Florida and her three daughters, Elizabeth Taylor, Alivia Stewart, and Abigail Stewart; father in-law and mother-in-law, Craig (Barbara) Floyd of Oak Ridge; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Katie (Nick) Biri of Jackson and their children Matthew and Emma Biri; and paternal grandmothers, Nancy Langston of Dover, Tn and Patricia McBride of St. Louis.
He was preceded in death by his mother and his step father, Ron McBride.
Visitation will be Saturday, September 28, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to service time in Chapel A at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.
Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
