Surrounded by her family, Cyrethia L. Hamlett, 63, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at the home of her mother in Jackson.
She was born December 30, 1954, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Richard O. and Barbara F. Newman Taul, Sr. She and Ronald Hamlett were married November, 1983. He passed away September 15, 2005.
Cyrethia was a CNA, working in the Jefferson County, Missouri area. She then lived many years in Carson City, Nevada. After Ron passed away, she moved to Jackson to be near her family.
Loving survivors include her mother, Barbara Taul of Jackson; sister, Ruth Ann Barbato of House Springs, Missouri; a step-son, Harley Hamlett of St. Louis; her cumpa’, Evon Crosno of Jackson; her beloved canine companion, Meha; several maternal and paternal aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Jeron Eric Hamlett (1999); her father, Richard Taul, Sr. (2016); and her brother, Richard O. Taul, Jr. (2014).
A memorial visitation will be held from noon to service time, Friday, May 18, 2018, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, May 18, 2018, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Don Estes officiating.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Southeast Hospice.
