Dorothy Mae Haselbauer, 91, of Neelys Landing, passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She resided at Ratliff Care Center in Cape Girardeau for over six years.
She was born December 12, 1926, the daughter of W. Henry and Elzenia Reynolds Schenimann. She married George Elliott Haselbauer and he preceded her in death October 12, 1958.
Loving survivors include a sister, Joyce (Eldor “Pete”) Bruss of Barnhart, MO; two nieces and a nephew, Jeannine (Tom) Pilliard, Clarice (Barry) Sage, and Mark (Brenda) Bruss.
In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by a nephew, Kent Bruss.
Dorothy was a graduate of Jackson High School and a member of Wesley United Methodist Church of Jackson. She was co-owner of the Six Gold Indoor Archery Range in St. Louis and Fenton. She later returned to the Cape Girardeau area and owned and operated the 6 Gold Archery Range in Cape Girardeau.
Visitation will be Monday, November 19, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
Funeral service will be Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 10:30 am, at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Minor officiating.
Interment will follow at Cape County Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church of Jackson or Teen Challenge in Cape Girardeau.
