Ida Mae Hartle, 93, of Jackson, passed away, Saturday, August 24, 2019 at her home in Jackson.
She was born January 26, 1926 in Millersville, daughter of Roy Marshal and Bernice Jenkins Hahn. She and Troy Emanuel Hartle were married June 26, 1948. They had been married nearly 49 years when he passed away May 31, 1997.
Ida was a 1944 graduate of Jackson Senior High School. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary. Ida had been a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church since 1948. She enjoyed being a homemaker and staying home to raise their children.
Loving survivors include a daughter Brenda “B.J.” Knehans of Jackson, one granddaughter Jill (Shaun) Bierweiler of Ashburn, Virginia and two great granddaughters Ava and Haley Bierweiler, siblings, Delano Turner and Nelda Hinton, both of Jackson, and Dean Blattel of Greenville, Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons Larry Wayne Hartle in July 1965 and Terry Lane Hartle in May 1996, and four siblings, Delmar Hahn, Iva Jaco, Irene Ried, and Louetta Henson.
The visitation will be 1pm until service time Saturday, August 31, 2019 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 2pm Saturday, with the Rev. Jimmie Corbin officiating.
Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
