Jane E. Landgraf, 64, of Jackson, passed away unexpectedly Monday, July 1, 2019, at her home.
She was born June 12, 1955, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Bernard and Betty Hill Johnson. She was baptized and confirmed at Concordia Lutheran Church in Sikeston.
Jane and Robert Landgraf, Jr. were married October 4, 1975 at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. Five children were born to their union, Carolinae, Robert III, Nicole, Elijah, and Amanda.
Jane was a 1973 graduate of Jackson High School. During school, she worked at the former A & W Rootbeer Restaurant in Jackson, owned and operated by her parents. After her children all went to school, she briefly worked at Rental Land in Cape Girardeau.
She was a longtime member of Zion Lutheran Church.
Loving survivors include her husband of 43 years, Robert Landgraf, Jr., of Jackson; four children, Robert (Mary) Landgraf III and daughters Hillary and Madison; Nicole (Aaron) DuBois and daughter, Shea; Elijah (Amanda) Landgraf and children Kade and Kaeli, and Amanda (Mike) LaBrier and son Micheal, all of Jackson; two sisters, Kathy (James) Workman of Destin, Florida, and Bernita Leadbetter of St. Charles, Missouri; and a sister-in-law, Becky Landgraf of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Carolinae; her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and June Landgraf, Sr; and a brother-in-law, Mike Leadbetter.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to service time, Monday, July 8, 2019, at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas.
The funeral is at 1 p.m., Monday, July 8, 2019, at the church, with the Rev. Virgil Kelm officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Memorials may take the form of contributions to Zion Lutheran Cemetery or the donor’s choice of charity.
