Millicent Arlene “Millie” Fluegge, 85, of Jackson passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Monticello House in Jackson.
She was born April 25, 1934, in Elsberry, Missouri, daughter of Henry William and Feodora Philipps Biester.
Millie was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary post #3838 in Cape Girardeau. Millie enjoyed collecting lighthouses and angel figurines
Loving survivors include four children, Mark (Mary Beth) Fluegge of Cape Girardeau, David (Debbie) Fluegge of Hillsboro, Missouri, Bruce (Tammy) Fluegge of Sedgewickville and Tammy (Tom) Sladek of Oak Ridge; 11 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister Alberta Wilke of Jackson and a sister- in- law Judy Biester of Cape Girardeau and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, Elvira Best, J.G. Biester and Melvin Biester.
The visitation will be from 9 – 11 AM on Friday, October 11, 2019 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The funeral service will be at 11 AM on Friday at the funeral home with Rev. Elijah Allen officiating.
Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
