Randy Neal Hency, 61, of Jackson passed away on June 7, 2018 at his home.
He was born August 11, 1956, in Cape Girardeau, son of Collie Neal and Shirley C. Palmer Hency. He and Connie Snider were married July 21, 1977.
Randy was a graduate of Cape Central High School. He worked for Caterpillar in Peoria, Illinois for 10 years. In 1984, he and his family moved to Jackson. Randy then became self-employed doing fence construction and farming. Randy had a passion for working hard, he especially enjoyed hauling hay. He attended Cape County Cowboy Church.
Loving survivors include his wife of 40 years: two sons, Jacob (Laurie) Hency and Rowdy Hency, both of Jackson; two grandchildren, Dustin Cook and Austin Abernathy; a brother, Richard (Sheila) Hency of Cape Girardeau; five sisters, Robin (Jim) Kindle of Sikeston, Ronda Hency of Jackson, Crystal (Ben) Beel of Leopold, Nicole Hency of Cape Girardeau, and Renea (Ronnie) Francis of Fredericktown.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The memorial visitation will be from 12:00 noon until service time on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
The memorial service will be at 2:00 pm at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.
The family suggests that contributions be made to a church or charity of donor’s choice.
