Loving survivors include a daughter, Jackie (Steve) Rafferty of Tucson, Arizona; four grandchildren, Sarah (Aaron) Foote of Gordonville; Blake Rafferty of Seattle, Washington; Scott (Trish) Rafferty of Farmington, Utah; and Natalie (Wayne) Saupe of Jackson; eight great-grandchildren, Owen, Isaac and Allison Rafferty, Ellie, Mia and Lila Foote, Kendall and Flynn Saupe; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, C.A. Baugus; daughter, Karen Turner; son, James Baugus; two sisters, Dora Koehler and Frieda Schaeffer; and six brothers, Zeno, Arnold, Otto, Cleophas, Theon and Roy Schaefer.

Rose was a gracious, kind and fun-loving woman who was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She was always ready to tell a joke, a story or listen endlessly to others. Rose loved to laugh, cook, sing, fish and make new friends. For many years she was an active member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a volunteer with the Girl Scouts. She received awards for her outstanding contributions to the Missouri Farm Bureau Women’s Committee.
