Aaron Ray Lange, 72, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022, at home with his family by his side. Aaron was born December 11, 1949, to Paul and Alma (Ahrens) Lange, in Cape Girardeau. He and Barbara Ann Bugge were married August 16, 1975, in Normal, Illinois. She survives. Aaron was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Chapel in Cape Girardeau. He was also a member of the National Bass Association for the Deaf, Missouri Deaf Bass Anglers, Kentucky Lake Deaf Bass Anglers, Bass Buster Club, H.I.B.A.S.S., as well as SEMO Deaf Association.
Aaron loved bass fishing and deer hunting, was an avid football watcher. He worked as a set-up man Rubbermaid and later worked for D.W. Tools as janitor until retirement.
In addition to his loving wife of 47 years, Aaron is survived by a brother, Linus Lange of St. Louis; a sister, Wanda (Harold) Matthews of Jackson; a sister-in-law, Billie (Richard) Follmer of Hudson, Illinois; two brothers-in-law, Glen (Mary Ann) Bugge and Richard Bugge, both of New Mexico; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022, from 10 AM until time of service at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. Funeral service will be at noon at the funeral home with Pastor Weston Wildauer officiating. Burial will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery. Memorials may take to form of contributions to World Lutheran Deaf Outreach, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, St. Paul Lutheran School in Jackson, or LMDS (Lutheran Deaf Mission Society).
