Angela Rosina Beussink

Angela Beussink, 85, of Jackson passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015 at her home.

She was born July 29, 1930, in Leopold, Mo, daughter of John H. and Bernadina E. Stoverink Wubker. She and Philip Beussink were married May 17, 1952. He passed away December 27, 2002.

Angela was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold. She was a longtime member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was very active at the church, serving in the St. Ann's Sodality, Marriage Encounter, and a sponsor for RCIA. Angela was also a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary in Jackson. She volunteered at the hospitals. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, traveling, and family get togethers.

Loving survivors include four daughters, Karen (Richard) Kubb of Eureka, Mo.; Kathy (Don) Blankenship of St. Louis, Mo.; Tina (Larry) Blattel of Scott City; Vickie (Michael) Bollinger of Fenton, Mo.; a son, Scott (Sharon) Beussink of Cape Girardeau; six sisters, Helen (Richard) Berhorst of St. Louis, Mo.; Laverne (Sidney) Steinhaeufel of Maryland Heights, Mo.; Margaret (Wayne) Dudley of Aurora, Co.; Agnes (Gerry) Vandeven of St. Louis, Mo.; Rosemary (Edward) Beussink of Jackson; a brother, Richard (Anita) Wubker of Oran, Mo.; thirteen grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren.

In addition to her loving husband of 50 years, she was preceded in death by a sister, Theresa Holzum.

Friends may call Sunday, September 13, 2015 from 4 to 8 pm at Immaculate Conception Church in Jackson; with Parish Prayers at 7 pm and a Rosary will follow by the St. Ann Sodality.

Funeral mass will be Monday, September 14, 2015, at 10 am, at the church, with Father John Harth officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may be made to Masses at Immaculate Conception Church, Alzheimer's Association, Southeast Hospice, or the American Cancer Society.
