Barbara Lange

Barbara Ann Lange, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau, MO.

On April 19, 1955 in Pontiac, IL, she was born to the late Everett and Pearl Behling Bugge.

Barbara was a 1974 graduate of the Illinois School for the Deaf.

In Normal, IL, on August 16, 1975 she married Aaron Ray Lange.

Before retiring, Barbara had spent the last ten years, working for Target in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include two brothers: Glen and Mary Ann Bugge of Edgewood, NM, and Richard Bugge of Los Lunas, NM; one sister, Billie Jean and Richard Follmer of Hudson, IL; one nephew, Timothy Follmer of Hudson, IL and one niece, Teresa Follmer of Bloomington, IL.

She was preceded in death by her husband and father.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2026 at the McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, MO from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral hour at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Weston Wildaur of Good Sheperd Chapel in Cape Girardeau, MO officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson, MO.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations in Barbara’s honor be made to the Good Shepherd Chapel in Cape Girardeau, MO.
