Barbara Ann (Weaver) Scheffer

Barbara Ann Scheffer, 79, of Millersville, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at her home. Barbara was born April 28, 1944, daughter of the late Elko and Nellie McAlister Weaver. She married Donald Dale Rossman, who preceded her in death. She later married "Joe" Scheffer on February 14, 2014, in Millersville. He survives in their home. Barbara was an arts and crafts enthusiast. She was an avid animal lover, owning all different kinds of critters. She especially loved crows and horses. She could be quite mystical with her love of magic and unicorns with her favorite holiday being Halloween.

In addition to her loving husband, Barb is survived by three siblings, Harold Weaver, Robert (Susan) Weaver and Linda Martinez; four sisters-in-law, Conchita Weaver, Dorothy Lynch, Ellen Christoski, and LaDonna (Jamey) Tripplett; numerous nieces, nephews, stepchildren and step-grandchildren; and all of her animal critters. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
