Barbara Jean Williamson

Barbara Jean Williamson, 82, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born on October 17, 1944 to the late Joel Cornelius and Clara M. (Collins) Seabaugh in Scott City, Missouri. She married the late Tony Williamson on July 3, 1964, in Jackson, MO.

Barbara loved her church and church family at New Bethel Baptist Church. She cherished her grandchildren. She enjoyed solving crossword puzzles, taking walks outdoors, and shopping.

She was survived by a daughter, Valarie (Rick) Sachs of Frohna; two sons, Russell Williamson and Matt Williamson of Jackson; Grandchildren, Ethan, and Randy; Great-grandchildren, Acelyn, Cohen, Stanley, and Henry; Siblings, Jackie Quade, Thelma Flowers, Terry Seabaugh, Leonard Seabaugh, Esther Henderson, and Kevin Seabaugh.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Joel and Clara Seabaugh, her husband of 52 years, Tony Williamson; Siblings, Joan James, Emmett Seabaugh, Donald Seabaugh, Harry Seabaugh, Marlin Seabaugh, Joel David Seabaugh, Sally Seabaugh, and Judith Ann Seabaugh.

Visitation will be Friday, October 30, 2026, from 4pm-8pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center, Jackson, MO. Funeral Service will be on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 10:00 am at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be at New Bethel Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorials to New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
