Bette (Nitsch) Hyten

September 5, 1941 — July 21, 2022

Jackson, Missouri

On July 21, 2022, Bette Nitsch Hyten (80) passed away peacefully at home in Jackson, MO.

She was born in Glasco, KS.  She graduated from Jackson High School.  She attended Southeast Missouri State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA.  She retired as the CFO from The Southeast Missouri Area Agency on Aging after 36 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Winifred Nitsch.

She is survived by her husband Doyle Gene Hyten, daughters Denise (Frank) Steinert and Danna (Joseph) Riley, sisters Jolene (Robert) Daugherty, Linda Gotham, and Delores (Stanley) Rothermich, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022, at 10AM at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery with Brother Jim Matthews officiating.  Final arrangements are being handled by McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, Missouri.
