Betty May Ford, age 89, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born September 14, 1930 at St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Lender W. and Thelma Greenlee Stovall.

Betty was a resident of the Lutheran Home for several years and was formerly of Oak Ridge. She was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan.

Loving survivors include a son Lenny (Jeanne) Seiler of Friedheim and Jo Ann Dallas of Texas; 11 grandchildren, Matt (Danielle) Seiler, Shelly (Robert) Schamburg, Joey Dallas, Kimberley (Martin) Hoffman, Tony (Sherry) Brethold, Angel (David) Engelen, Bonnie (Kody) Seiler, Gloria (Tim) Pender, Alex (Kelli) Seiler, Ashley Seiler, Allyson (Chris) Sessions; 33 great grandchildren; and seven great great grandchildren.

Also surviving, one brother Earl Stovall of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Della McLain of Jackson and Mary Ann (Rev. J.D.) Smith of Advance, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leonard Seiler and Carl Ford; four children, Rick, Benny, and Mary Dell Seiler and Carol Riley; two grandchildren, Lisa and Mike Seiler; two brothers, Jerry and Glenn Stovall and one sister Donna Kay Eakins.

Visitation will be from 9 am until service time Saturday, March 7, 2020 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 11 am Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. J.D. Smith and Joy Shirrell officiating.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials contributions may be made to McCombs Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
