Betty Jo (Wood) Boyd

Betty Jo Boyd, 92, formerly of Campbell, Mo., went to be with Jesus on Monday, February 11, 2019, at Monticello House in Jackson, Mo.

She was born on February 20, 1926 in Campbell, Mo., to Mart and Beulah Hodges Wood.  She was a 1943 graduate of Campbell High School and a member of the Campbell United Methodist church.

On February 12, 1947, in Clay County, Arkansas, she married Dan Wesley Boyd, who preceded her in death on July 2, 2012.

Survivors include one son, John (Stephanie) Boyd of St. Louis, Missouri and one daughter, Jane Ann (Roger) Raines of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; four grandchildren, Amy (Rick) Pacanowski and Dan (Julie) Boyd, of St. Louis, Missouri , Gina (Brian) Matysik and Danielle Pirch (Erik Miller) of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and seven Great-Grandchildren: Madeline and Caleb Pacanowski, Ally and Lucas Boyd, and Destiny, Savannah, and Corbin Matysik.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; and by one brother, Harold (Woody) Wood.

A private, family memorial will be held at a later date.
