Betty Louise Yount, age 97, passed away Tuesday March 10, 2026 at the Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Missouri. She was the kindest, most unselfish person anyone could meet; a beautiful soul inside and out.
Born in Cape Girardeau, MO on July 6, 1928 daughter of Tony L. “Ted” and Grace B. Seabaugh Dolle. She was a devoted Christian wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She loved music and was a pianist in her church for 78 years. Whether it was for a church service, a wedding, a funeral or revival, she was always willing to share her gift of music. She was a very talented seamstress and recently said making clothes for her family was her biggest source of pride.
She very quietly supported her family always. She had an unwavering faith and positive outlook on life.
Preceding her in death were her parents, Ted and Grace Dolle; husband, Don Yount; sister Norma Fadler; brothers-in-law, Bill Fadler and Glen Mungle.
Surviving are her children Michael (Doug Eichman) Yount, Pam (Mike) Poston; grandchildren Sarah Louise Perez, Andrew Michael (Chelsea) Poston, Patrick Evan (Julie) Poston; great grandchildren Jackson Oliver Perez, Sophia Grace Perez, Michael Asher Perez, Wesley Evan Poston, Remington Castino Poston, Charleston Grace Poston, and Fallon Kay Poston; a sister Anna Lee Mungle; as well as several nieces and nephews.
