Blane Mitchell Milde

Blane Mitchell Milde, age 45, of Jackson passed away Thursday, July 9, 2026 at his home.

He was born February 10, 1981 in Cape Girardeau to Frank A. Milde Jr and Janet Sue Lilly Milde.

Blane attended school at Immaculate Conception Catholic School in Jackson and later Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau. He was a sixth generation farmer and was proud of his heritage and the fact that his son Zachary is the 7th generation to farm the historic Milde family farm. Blane enjoyed the outdoors hunting, fishing and camping.

Loving survivors include his son Zachary Chapman of Cape Girardeau; father, Frank Milde of Jackson; brother, Craig Milde of Cape Girardeau; sister, Leeann (Marco) Otten and their son Xander of Jackson; and many extended family and friends.

Blane was preceded in death by his mother, Janet Sue Lilly Milde; his paternal grandparents Frank Albert Sr. and Louise Anna Schaper Milde; and maternal grandmother, Gladys Lilly.

A memorial visitation will be from 1-3 pm, Sunday, July 19, 2026 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. A vigil service will be at 3 pm at the funeral home with Father Randy Tochtrop officiating.

If considering a memorial donation the family suggest Immaculate Conception Catholic School or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
