Bob W. Sandusky

Robert “Bob” W. Sandusky, 79, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at the Monticello House in Jackson.

He was born February 1, 1941, in Lincoln County, Tennessee, to the Rev. Jacob “J.C.” and Marie Riggs Sandusky.  He and Juanita F. “Faye” Ross were married September 3, 1966, in Saugatuck, Michigan.   They had been married 50 years when Faye passed away November 3, 2016.

Bob and Faye lived many years in Sikeston, moving to Jackson in the mid 1980’s.  Bob worked many years at Rubbermaid in Jackson, retiring in 2006.  Upon retirement, he was able to fully enjoy his favorite things – his horses and fishing.

Bob and Faye were members of the Cape County Cowboy Church.

Loving survivors include a daughter-in-law, Alicia (the late Tony) Sandusky of Jackson; three grandchildren, Bobby Sandusky of Jackson, and Cody (Emily) Sandusky of Kelso, Missouri, Chelsea (Kyle) Greenwalt of Kansas City, Missouri; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Liz (the late Kelly) Abernathy of Jackson, and Marilyn Brewer of Indiana; and Sandra (Rick) Freeman of Taylorville, Illinois,

He was preceded in death by his wife; his son, Tony Sandusky; four sisters, Imogene Gallegly, Margaret Giles, Agnes Castleberry, and Adell Bond.

Visitation is Monday, February 1, 2021, from 11 a.m. to service time, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral is Monday, February 1, 2021, at 1 p.m., at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating.  Burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
