Bonnie Luttrell

Bonnie Sue Luttrell, age 71, of Jackson, passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born December 4, 1945 in Belleville, Illinois to Edward and Edith Louise Alexander Hunt. She and James Luttrell were married September 2, 1961 in Dupo, Illinois. He passed away December 26, 2001.

Bonnie and her husband James lived in southeast Missouri and northern Florida most of their married lives. She enjoyed playing bingo, old fashion tent revivals, and southern gospel music. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Loving survivors include five sons, Kenny (Denise) Luttrell of Jackson, Kevin Luttrell of Patton, Ronnie (Renee) Luttrell of Oak Ridge, MO, Eric Luttrell of Cape Girardeau, and Doug (Ashley) Luttrell of Marble Hill, MO; sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Also surviving are three siblings, Walter Egger, Kathy Harper, and Madge Touchette.

In addition to her husband of over 40 years she was preceded in death by two sons, John and Brian Luttrell, a daughter Joyce Inskeep, a granddaughter Melissa Luttrell, a grandson Jonathan Inskeep, and two brothers Robert and David Hunt.

Friends may call Friday, September 1, 2017 from 4-8 pm at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be 10:30 am Saturday, September 2, 2017 at the funeral home with the Rev. Phillip Easton and Rev. Andy Easton officiating.

Interment will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery, at Thebes, IL.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Diabetes Association.
