Boyd Dewayne Simpkins

Boyd Dewayne Simpkins, 66, of Oak Ridge passed away Thursday, October 28, 2021 at his home. He was born November 22, 1954 in Cape Girardeau, son of Boyd and Doris Cope Simpkins. He and Terry Culbertson were married February 14, 1974 in Scott City. She survives. Dewayne loved working on and driving old cars. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his family. In addition to his wife, Terry of 47 years of marriage, he is survived by a daughter Christy (Chad Hatheway) Schlimme; two granddaughters Jennifer (Scott) Smith and Julie Hatheway all of Jackson; his mother Doris (the late Gerald) Moss of Scott City and sister Gerri (Tom) Reamer of Lake St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his father and step-father, Memorial visitation will be from 1:00 - 3:00 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
