Bradley Thurman Mcclanahan

Bradley T. McClanahan, 58, of Jackson, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, in Cape Girardeau.

He was born October 12, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, to Jerry T. and Phyllis J. Sperling McClanahan. He and Tammy Breckenridge were married April 30, 1988. Three daughters were born to their union, Danielle, Makayla, and Kourtney.

Bradley was a 1983 graduate of Jackson High School.

Bradley thoroughly enjoyed working, and for 40 years, he was employed in his father's business, McClanahan Construction. The past five years, he worked as a self-employed contractor.

When time allowed, Bradley liked to hunt and fish, but above all, he loved being with his grandchildren and having family get-togethers.

To cherish his memory, Bradley leaves his wife of 35 years, Tammy McClanahan of Jackson; daughters, Danielle McClanahan of Jackson; Makayla (James) Eddleman of Jackson; and Kourtney (Zack) Burgfeld of Jackson; grandchildren, Jenna Burgfeld, Beau Burgfeld, James Henry Eddleman and Elnora Marie Eddleman; his father, Jerry McClanahan of Cape Girardeau; sisters, Kimberly McClanahan of Salem, Tammy Hunt of Oak Ridge, and Sherry (Roger) McClanahan-Hluzek of St. Charles.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis McClanahan.

A memorial visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday, August 25, 2023, at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. At 7 p.m., the Rev. Donny Ford will share memories of Bradley.
