Brent Holt

Brent W. Holt, age 59, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Nov. 11, 2017.

He was born April 17, 1958, at DuQuoin, Illinois, the son of Homer and Frances Pauline Holt Sr. He and Tonya Sue Watkins were married March 1, 1977.

Brent had recently returned to work at Proctor & Gamble, after being unable to work the past few years due to failing health.

He was an amazing man who only cared for the happiness of others. He will be missed, but very fondly remembered. He touched more lives than he knew.

Loving survivors include his wife of over 40 years, Tonya Holt; three siblings, Roger (Sue) Holt of Illinois, Homer (Pam) Holt Jr., of Decatur, Illinois, and Geneva Masters of Jackson. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Brenda K. Sample and Karen Sue Biggerstaff.

Arrangements are being provided by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
