Brent A. Parker

Brent Allen Parker, 56, of St. Louis, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, March 28, 2020, at Green Park Nursing Home in St. Louis, Missouri.

He was born September 30, 1963 in Cape Girardeau, to Billy Ray and Mary Ann Menz Parker. Brent married Cheryl Asher April 28, 2001. They had been married only seven years when Cheryl passed away May 28, 2008.

Brent was a 1981 graduate of Cape Central High School in Cape Girardeau. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps.  He previously worked several years as street maintenance supervisor for Rockport Township Public Works Department, retiring due to failing health.

Loving survivors include his mother, Mary Ann Parker of Cape Girardeau; sister, Beverly Brooks of St. Louis; two brothers, Bradley (Linda) Parker of Dell Rapids, South Dakota and Bryan Parker of Cape Girardeau.

Also surviving are a step-daughter Keyla (Jarrett) Seibel and two grandchildren, Ralph and Everett Seibel.

He was preceded in death by his wife and his father.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment will be in Cape Girardeau County Memorial Park Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
