Brian Joseph Leonard, age 66, of Jackson, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021 at his home.

He was born November 13, 1954 in Providence, Rhode Island, son of Kenneth M. and Thelma Danis Leonard Sr. He married Christine Rueter June 21, 1986 in Richton Park, Il.

Brian was a 1972 graduate of Barrington High School in Barrington, Rhode Island. He worked for the FBI and Allendale Insurance Company in Rhode Island before embarking on a 30 year career in the specialty metals business as a customer service and sales representative for Technical Materials Inc., in Lincoln, Rhode Island, then as an independent representative in Chicago, Illinois and ended his career with Heyco Metals in Reading, Pennsylvania. Brian enjoyed working on cars, playing his guitar and being involved with his church family.

Loving survivors include his wife Christine of 34 years; a brother, C. Stephen (Deborah) Leonard of Warwick, Rhode Island; a niece Jennifer Leonard; four nephews, Kenneth III, Mark, Craig and Martin Leonard; and a sister-in-law, Louise (the late Kenneth M. II) Leonard.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Kenneth M. Leonard II, and Paul Leonard.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. April 24 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau.
