Brittany Nicole Mcclanahan

Brittany McClanahan, 22, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, August 15, 2015.

She was born June 23, 1993, in Sikeston, Missouri, to Scott McClanahan and Elizabeth Scott.

Survivors include her son, Malakhi Pearson and his father, Monteal Pearson; her mother, Elizabeth Scott; her father, Scott McClanahan; siblings, Amber, Brianna, Hank, Sydney, and Victoria; grandparents, a niece, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother.

Visitation will be Saturday, August 22, 2015, from 10 AM to service time, at the chapel of McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

The funeral will be at 1 PM, Saturday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Curtis True officiating.

Interment will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
