Bryant Beussink, age 42 of Jackson passed away, Thursday, June 18, 2026 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Bryant was born on August 6, 1983, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, to Bradley and Elaine Rhodes Beussink.

A graduate of Jackson High School, Bryant went on to earn his bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. He was proud of his work as a Construction Estimator for Lithko Construction Company in Nashville, Tennessee.

He was raised in the Catholic faith at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson. More recently he had grown in his personal spiritual relationship with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Bryant enjoyed doing a little fishing, working on all sorts of projects from tinkering on old trucks, four wheelers and many other things.

He acquired a fondness for 70’s rock music along with country music, and his fiance’ was bringing him along into 80’s classic rock tunes. Bryant really enjoyed life and so many things it had to offer, spending time at the cabin, going to the Kentucky Lake, being an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, attending concerts, taking spontaneous trips, and the art of making a good deal.

More than anything, Bryant was a proud and devoted father. His sons, August and Samuel, were the center of his world and his greatest joy. He treasured every moment spent with them and loved them beyond measure.

Those left to cherish his memory include his fiancée, Ami Illers of Jackson; his parents, Bradley and Elaine Beussink; beloved sons, August George Beussink and Samuel Nash Beussink; sister, Jenna (Hodge Hayes) Beussink of Charleston, Missouri; his brother, Russell (Ashley) Beussink; paternal grandparents, Herman and Vergie Beussink of Gordonville; special friends, Justin McNeely, Stephen Sauer, and Brent Knaup; and his niece and nephews, Charlotte Vera Hayes, Miles Avery Beussink, and Liam Oliver Beussink.

Other surviviors include his godparents, Tim and Debbie Beussink; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends whose lives were touched by his kindness, humor, and generous spirit.

Bryant was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, F. Eugene "Gene" Rhodes and Edvira Messmer Rhodes, and his first child by miscarriage.
