Carol E. (Farrow) Lunsford

Carol E. Lunsford, 94, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Life Care Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born March 23, 1924 near Oriole, the daughter of Burette A. and Lottie Mae Tripp Farrow. Carol was married to Charles Oakley Lunsford and he preceded her in death June 22, 1960.

Carol was a member of the North Cape Girardeau Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.  She enjoyed flowers, gardening and being with her family.

Loving survivors include a son Gary Lunsford of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Lana Ussery of Cape Girardeau and Patricia (Dennis) Koch of Oak Ridge.  Also surviving are many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by two sons, an infant son and three daughters.

A memorial visitation will be held from 6 p.m. until service time on Friday, March 8, 2019 at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson. The memorial service will be held Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Brother Roy LeBlanc officiating.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to the North Cape Girardeau Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
