Charles E. “Jim” Frentzel

"Don't be sad for me, I lived a good life... live yours," is what he always said. Charles E. "Jim" Frentzel, age 91, of St. Louis, formerly of Jackson, died peacefully on April 25, 2017 at Bethesda Dilworth Nursing Home in St. Louis. Born September 29, 1925 in Jackson, he lived in Michigan and Texas before returning to Missouri in 2002.

Survivors include his long-time companion, Janice Miller of St. Louis and a daughter, Julie Frentzel of Montclair, New Jersey. Jim was preceded in death by his wife, Nathalee R. Frentzel and son, James N. Frentzel.

A private burial was held at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson with Rev. Sam Roethemeyer officiating.

McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson was in charge of arrangements.
