Charles “Karl” Daniel Wild IV, 61, of Scott City, Missouri, formerly of Farmington, passed away Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at the Chaffee Nursing Center, due to diabetic complications.
The eldest of three children, he was born May 19, 1964, in San Diego, California, to Charles D. III and Margaret Wild.
Karl was a 1982 graduate of Jackson High School. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, working primarily in large truck transportation. He retired from Proffer Produce in Farmington, Missouri, as a long-haul truck driver.
Karl was married to Virginia Hankins on January 1, 1995, with whom he had 2 daughters.
Karl is survived by the mother of his children, Virginia Wild; daughters, Samantha Jo (Charlie) Wadlow and Alexandra Danielle Wild (fiancé Bobby), grandchildren, Walker Lynn Wadlow and Remi June Alice Wadlow all of the Farmington area; his parents, Charles D. III and Margaret Wild of Scott City, Missouri; sisters, Tina (Tomislav) Grujic and Franciska (Steve) Davey; nephews, a great-nephew, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles D. II and Louisa Wild.
Per Karl’s wishes, there are no services.
