Cynthia Lynn Koerner, 35, of Oak Ridge passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born April 15, 1982, in Cape Girardeau, to Gary and Gayla Henson Biggs. She and Steven Koerner were married April 23, 2005.
Cindy was a 2000 year graduate of Jackson High School. She earned her CNA certificate and later earned her Certified Medical Coding certificate from the Career and Technology Center in Cape Girardeau. She worked at various nursing facilities in the Cape/Jackson area and was a medical coder at Cardio Vascular Consultants and Southeast Hospital. Cindy was boisterous, fun loving and the life of the party. She was passionate about caring for babies and the elderly. Above all, she loved her family and adored her daughters, nieces and nephews.
Survivors include her loving husband of 12 years; three beautiful daughters, Madalynn, Emily & Abigale Koerner of the home; her parents, Gayla and Jim Anthony of Jackson; father, Gary Biggs of Paducah, Kentucky; a sister, April (Jason) Newell of St. Louis; a brother, J.R. Anthony (fiancé, Whitney Kluesner) of Cape Girardeau; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; a nephew, Samuel Newell and a great aunt, Faye Brocke.
A memorial visitation will be 10 am to 12 pm, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Centenary United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau. A memorial service will begin at 12 pm at the church with Rev. Karen Nothdruft officiating.
Cremation accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Koerner family or Samuels Lullaby.
