Dale Nelson

Tola Dale Nelson, age 85, of Cape Girardeau, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018.

Of all of his accomplishments that could be listed, the greatest was his ability to make people he came in contact with smile. He was always upbeat and positive, quick with a joke or a funny comment. He refused to let anything life might throw at him get him down. While he didn’t have great earthly riches to leave his family, he left us with much more... a legacy in his example of love, dedication and responsibility to the ones he loved.

He is survived by his children, Steve Nelson, Julie (Darrell) Tillman, Larry (Terry) Nelson; seven grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.

A private service will be held at a later date.

McCombs Funeral Home in Cape Girardeau is in charge of arrangements.
