Daniel R Nenninger

Daniel Raymond Nenninger, 89, passed away peacefully at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri on August 4th, 2026.

Born on November 11th, 1936 to the late Vernon and Lillian (Hayger) Nenninger in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

On September 3rd, 1956 he married the love of his life, MaryAnn (Aug) Nenninger. Daniel would later go on to raise two sons. They would have celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary this year.

Daniel worked for many years as an over-the-road truck driver with yellow freight. He dedicated time to his family and enjoyed hunting. Daniel loved being a grandpa, he was also a Teamsters member and as well as a member of the Knights of Columbus.

He was a dedicated army service member and devoted to his country.

He is survived by his loving wife, MaryAnn Nenninger, two sons, Ken (Gail) Nenninger, and Roger Nenninger; eight grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.

Daniel is preceded in death by his parents.

To honor Daniel’s wishes, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
