Darrell Wayne Jones

Darrell Wayne Jones, 56, of Jackson passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at his home.

He was born May 24, 1966, in Cape Girardeau, son of Lynn Vanus and Dorothy Marie Ruch Jones. Darrell was a 1984 graduate of Jackson High School. He worked for Lee - Rowan, Quade Masonry, Terry Swain Masonry. Darrell enjoyed watching the Jackson Indians Football, St. Louis Cardinals and St. Louis Rams. He liked going to the drag races and spending time on the farm. Loving survivors include two sons, Garrett (Brooke) Jones of Cape Girardeau and Coty Wills of Jackson; six grandchildren, Layla - Belle Joyce Wills, Elora Catherine Tatum Wills, Adler Wayne Levi Wills, NiKlaus Lynn Vanus Wills, Landon Eli Wayne Jones and Layton Daniel Cole Jones.

Also surviving are five siblings, Joe (Janice) Jones of Jasper, Indiana, Mitchell (Meredith) Jones of Arnold, Missouri, Gary Jones of Barnhart, Missouri Betty Jones of Shingle Spring, California and Martha (Danny) Bowers of Jackson.

He was preceded in death by four siblings, Shirley Cook, Terry Jones, Butch Ruch, and Linda Dowd, and his parents.

Visitation will be Friday, June 24, 2022 from 9:30 am until service time at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am Friday, June 24, 2022 at the funeral home.

Interment will follow in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Memorials may take the form of contributions to McCombs Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
