David Lee Derousse

David Lee DeRousse 81, of Oak Ridge passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023 at his home in Oak Ridge. He was born January 12, 1942, in Jefferson County, Missouri, son of Roy and Margaret Martin DeRousse. He and Linda Kyle were married September 5, 1970. David grew up in Crystal City and began working as a young man culminating with a career at the railroad. He had a passion for hunting with Tuck DeRousse and fishing with his children. David and Joe Schaffer "P.J." were avid shooting match partners. Loving survivors include his wife Linda Lea DeRousse of the home; four children, Harold Wayne "Toodie" (Linda) Watson, Anthony Kyle "Tony" (Kristi) Watson all of Jackson, Traci Lynn Watson of North Carolina and David Lee (Christina) DeRousse Jr. of Ste. Genevieve, Missouri; 14 grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Howard and Billie Sloan and Bob Roy DeRousse; a sister, Donna Hall, and a great-grandchild, Quinn Watson. The family would like to thank St. Francis Hospice for all their care. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
