David G. Steinnerd

David G. Steinnerd, 57, of Gordonville, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020, at his home.

He was born June 30, 1962, in Cape Girardeau, to Melvin J. and Rita M. Kirn Steinnerd.

David was a graduate of Leopold High School.  He was a self-employed truck driver and operated heavy equipment.

He was a fomer president of the Jackson Jaycees, participated in many local tractor pulls, and enjoyed riding his motorcycle.

Loving survivors include his father, Melvin Steinnerd of Jackson; seven siblings, Bertha Steinnerd, Vicki (Owen) Scherer, Tim Steinnerd, Steve (Debbie) Steinnerd, Sarah Steinnerd, Lisa (Tony) Cook, and Nancy Steinnerd.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Rita Steinnerd, and two brothers, James Steinnerd and Lewis Steinnerd.

The family will honor David with a private service at McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.  Private burial will follow at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
