Dennis J. Jones, 69, of Millersville, passed away, Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at Mercy South Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
First and foremost, Dennis was devoted to his wife, Michelle. Their life together was built on love, partnership, and shared strength. Michelle was his home, and the bond they shared was steady, loyal, and deeply meaningful. Dennis's love for her was evident in the way he lived every day.
Dennis was a father to Myra Delfs and a cherished brother to Rob Jones and Jamie Wills. Those he loved mattered to Dennis, and those bonds were not taken lightly. He was someone you could count on-steady, protective, and present. Today we gather with heavy hearts, but also with deep gratitude that we all were a part of his life.
One of Dennis's most meaningful roles was being a mentor to his nephew, Mason Wills. Dennis didn't just offer advice-he led by example. Through patience, shared experiences, and honest guidance, he helped shape the man Mason is becoming. That legacy of mentorship and care will continue long into the future. Dennis lived life with passion and purpose, especially outdoors. He was an avid motorcycle rider and white-water canoer, drawn to adventure and the freedom of the open road and rushing rivers. He loved firearms, not just as tools, but as part of a lifestyle rooted in responsibility, skill, and respect. Nature was where Dennis felt most alive, and it was fitting that he made his home on the white-water river in Millersville, Missouri.
A celebration of Dennis’s life will be from 10:30 am until service time, Saturday, January 10, 2026, at the Cape County Cowboy Church located at 220 Orchid Ln, Oak Ridge, MO 63769. The service will start at 12:30 pm.
